My background includes many years working and volunteering in a variety of voluntary organisations and social enterprises, followed by several years’ local government service in charge of grants, developing the commissioning of public services and improving relations with the voluntary and community sector.
Now a freelance consultant, I blend my knowledge from these different roles and work at the interface between the two sectors – often around improving the experience of funding and commissioning for both parties.
Through my in-depth understanding of organisational development and the provision of coaching for CEOs and managers, Third Sector bodies and social enterprises can become stronger and more sustainable. I also work with a variety of other consultants who specialise in fields such as HR and Finance, in order to offer a holistic service.
